1, 2009 - An Ardmore Police Officer moments after giving
blood at the community blood drive held at Walgreen's on
North Commerce. It was an afternoon of fun with Police
Officers, Community Service Officers, local media, and even
McGruff the Crime Dog making an appearance! We were
pleased to help with this successful event.

The Ardmore
Police Department is committed to providing the highest quality police

permanent solutions to problems and enhance the quality of life in
Ardmore while maintaining respect for individual rights and human
dignity.
Department History
Since its
creation more than 110 years ago, the Ardmore Police Department
has fostered an empathetic atmosphere coupled with the
philosophy of Community Policing to create a more conducive
environment for the culturally diverse population that we
police. Since 1893 with a City Marshall being appointed as the
Chief Law Enforcement Officer for the community of Ardmore, it
has evolved to this present state with specific divisions dealing
with the intricate components of crime and the prevention
thereof. |
